Gillian grew up in Yorkshire where she indulged herself in various musical activities and later studied voice at the Royal Northern College of Music. A year after graduating she moved to Jersey with her husband. Since then she has performed in Carmina Burana and Carmen, is a long term member of The Amity Singers and now also sings regularly with St Luke’s Church Choir and Jersey Chamber Choir.
