Hilton Packies, a lyric tenor, started his musical training at an early age in the New Apostolic Church, where he learnt to play all recorders, flute, clarinet and was a member of the Adult Chamber and Concert Choirs that undertook local and international tours.

Since moving to Jersey he joined the Jersey Chamber Choir and regularly sings as soloist and is a member of the St Luke’s Church Choir. He also regularly performs as soloist with Bel Canto.

Recent performances included the role of Don Curzio in The Marriage of Figaro and Piangi in the Phantom of the Opera.
